Vancouver Geotechnical Society

VGS will be hosting our next technical presentation on Tuesday, 29 April 2025, at the Executive Inn, Burnaby. Dr. Andrew Mitchell, Dr. Marten Geertsema, and Dr. Brian Menounos will present on the topic of the Chilcotin Landslide Response.

The VGS now accepts online payment for memberships. Lifetime members need not renew annually. Registration for the 2024 - 2025 season will be available in September.

The 31st Symposium of the Vancouver Geotechnical Society, focusing on the topic of “Shallow and Deep Foundations”, will take place on Friday June 06, 2025, at the Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront (1133 West Hastings Street in Vancouver). Details here.
