UBC Vancouver Geotechnical Society Scholarship

Description: A $4,400 scholarship has been endowed by the Vancouver Geotechnical Society. The award is offered to an incoming M.Eng. or M.A.Sc. student in geotechnical engineering on the basis of excellence in the last two years of an undergraduate curriculum. The award is offered to a student in the department of Civil or Geological Engineering, and is made on the recommendation of the respective department in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

BCIT Vancouver Geotechnical Society Award

Description: The VGS endowment provides annual graduation achievement awards for students in BCIT’s Civil Engineering program with a preference to students who have taken both CIVIL 7040 – Geotechnical Engineering 1 and CIVIL 7042 – Geotechnical Engineering 2. The endowment supports one student with an award each year.
