26th Vancouver Geotechnical Society Symposium
on Site Characterization

The 26th Vancouver Geotechnical Society Symposium will take place on May 31, 2019 at the Pinnacle Hotel and focus on the topic of Site Characterization.

Symposium Program:

  • The Symposium program will consist of the following (details provided here):

    • A Keynote lecture by Jason DeJong of UC Davis who will present on integrated site characterization and EGBC’s dam foundation guidelines.

    • Technical sessions including presentation of 10 papers.

    • A panel discussion featuring the keynote speakers and local experts.

    • Geotechnical suppliers trade show exhibition.

  • Continental breakfast, lunch, and two coffee breaks will be provided.

Registration:

  • Registration forms are provided here.

  • Registration fees are as follows:

    • Before April 30: $200

    • On/after May 1: $250

    • On May 31: $300
