Location: Pinnacle Hotel Harbourfront, 1133 W Hastings St, Vancouver, BC

 This advanced short course will be taught by Professor Youssef Hashash, PhD, P.E., NAE, in collaboration with Rocscience's Dylan Centella and Alireza Afkhami.

 Course Overview:

This two‑day program will guide participants through the fundamentals and advanced applications of seismic site response analysis using RSSeismic. Day 1 focuses on 1‑D site response, from linear and equivalent‑linear approaches to nonlinear time‑domain analysis. Day 2 expands into pore pressure generation, liquefaction modeling, RSLog integration, and 2‑D/3‑D applications for soil–structure interaction and liquefaction. Hands‑on examples will be integrated throughout both days.
